East Meets West: Asian Investors Turn to Greenlandic Gemstones
Live streaming sessions and broadcasting in our facility in Bangkok
Live Broadcasts from Bangkok Vault
In April, The Mint AS hosted a delegation of investors and broadcasters from China at our secure vault facility in Bangkok. Over the course of a day and a half, the group conducted a series of live broadcasts, presenting our Greenlandic rubies and sapphires to a wide online audience. The event resulted in the sale of several hundred gemstones and marked a clear demonstration of growing international interest in our offerings.
Asian Appetite for Alternative Assets
This engagement reflects a broader trend: investors, particularly in Asia, are increasingly exploring alternative assets as part of a diversified investment strategy. Natural gemstones—especially those with clear provenance and ethical sourcing—are gaining recognition for their intrinsic and long-term value.
Tokenized Ownership and Full Transparence
The Mint AS has developed a structured and transparent framework for investing in these assets. By linking each gemstone to a blockchain-based digital token, we offer investors a way to access real-world assets in a secure and verifiable format. Our ruby and sapphire tokens represent direct ownership of individual, ethically sourced gemstones, combining the stability of tangible assets with the benefits of digital infrastructure.
Strengthening International Reach
We view this recent event as an important step in our international outreach and are encouraged by the strong interest from Chinese investors. As demand for secure, traceable, and alternative investment opportunities continues to grow, we are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and transparency in all aspects of our business.
Looking Ahead
At The Mint, we believe in building long-term value through real, transparent, and responsibly sourced assets. We’re excited to see growing international recognition of Greenlandic gemstones and welcome continued dialogue with investors, collectors, and curious minds alike.
Whether you’re exploring alternative investments or simply intrigued by the story of these rare stones, we invite you to follow our journey—and reach out if you'd like to learn more.
